GBR TMT undergoes a PLC controlled thermo-mechanical treatment to manufacture Fe-550 grade TMT Bars. The automated quenching system ensures consistency of the tempered martensitic rim across the length of the bars.
GBR Metals has an in-house steel melting and casting facility to manufacture billets as per the
IS 2830:2012 code. Billet made TMT bars offers significant benefits over traditional ingot made TMT bars
in terms of consistency and quality.
